I’m Maria Senf Cucalon, an equestrian and lifestyle photographer. My passion for photography has always been a part of me, even while I pursued a degree in Psychology, followed by an MA and MBA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. I came to the U.S. at 20, and alongside my academic journey, photography was my creative outlet.
With the founding of Gallop Equine, an equestrian boot technology company, I realized I could combine my love for horses with photography and turn it into a profession. Now, I specialize in equine portraits, black background photography, and capturing the unique bond between horse and rider. I also offer lifestyle photography, celebrating special moments with families.
My sons, Emilio and Levi, inspired me to explore the world of lifestyle photography, where I capture not only equestrian moments but also precious family connections. Whether it’s a fine art portrait, an equestrian event, or a candid family moment, my goal is to create timeless images that tell your story and highlight the beauty and spirit of both the equestrian world and everyday life.
